Coat Tree

Wood working is fun. I went for these classes in Spring 2011 and made a lot of little projects. One of them 
is the tent / reading nook which can be found here in my other post. 


This coat rack made from a high density fiber board and different tools. The inspiration for this project is pinned on my woodworking pin board here. The actual DIY instructions can be found here. 

After adding a base at the bottom of the trunk and a little more leafy design than the original one.

Still thinking of what colors to do. Just plain color or paint it like an actual tree.. What are your thoughts about it?

Reading Nook / Tent

 Reading nook made for my daughter inspired by this pinterest pin "here" Made a frame based on the instructions found on the Anna White website and repurposed an old bedsheet to sew the canopy for the tent.
