Quick n Easy Akaashkandil Decor for Diwali

Found this star decor in the Christmas decor aisles of Dollar Tree

Looks good just as it is with the sun rays falling over.

But I also want it to be lit up at night. So I punched holes on the borders of all the rays of the star and attached this adapter from Lowes.

Bought this adaptar from Lowes.

This is how it looks during the early morning hours.

And this is how it shines at night :)

Wish you all a very happy and prosperous Diwali.

Tiered Serving Platters for Diwali.

I found the tutorial for this from pinterest and followed the link to make these beautiful tiered platter to serve the Diwali snacks. I kept it simple and single color.
